I have really enjoyed this author's work in the past so I was really disappointed when this book revealed itself to be so lacklustre. It felt very 'cluncky' to read and the characters emotions didn't feel real to me. Straight off to the charity shop I'm afraid, although it won't stop me picking up other titles by her.'Call After Midnight' on Amazon.co.uk
